Happy half-birthday to Claiming Noah

Today, 1 September 2015, is six months to the day after my debut novel, Claiming Noah, was launched. And what a six months it has been!
It was nerve wracking putting this story out into the world. Not just because it was my first book, although that certainly added to my anxiety, but because it deals with topics that are emotionally fraught and somewhat controversial. It’s hard to predict how a book like that will be received. But it has been a fantastic experience so far. To all the lovely people who have read Claiming Noah and contacted me about it, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m always thrilled to hear that someone has read and enjoyed my book.
One of the best parts of the last six months has been hearing about the book club discussions people have had. Some of you liked characters others disliked, some of you were appalled by the characters’ actions while others sympathised with them, and best of all, conversations inevitability turned to what each of you would do if you were faced with the decision of what to do with leftover embryos. If you’re looking for fodder for your next book club, you can download a reading group guide for Claiming Noah.
Lastly, to top off an amazing six months, I recently received the exciting news that Claiming Noah will be published in the US and Canada in 2016. More on that soon!
